Linux Administration Stuff

Pretty handy tool to make sure your log files are handled properly.

The tool uses a global configuration at /etc/logrotate.conf and dedicated configurations in the folder /etc/logrotate.d/.

Starting it in debug modus:
logrotate -d /etc/logrotate.d/

Forcing it to run:
logrotate /etc/logrotate.d/

Usually you run it on a daily basis by adding it to /etc/cron.daily
